This page explains how Rurevun handles personal information collected through rurevun.com and through a brief you send us. Cookies, advertising pixels, and campaign data inside ad accounts are covered separately in the Policy.
Who is responsible
Rurevun is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact [email protected]. If a proposal names a legal entity and an address, that entity is the responsible party for the engagement. This notice is written so you can see what the site actually does. It should be checked against the law that applies to you.
What we collect
- Identity and contact details you send: name, work email, company, and the message itself.
- Commercial context you choose to give: the service you need, and a range for media spend.
- Technical data an ordinary host log may hold, such as IP address, browser type, date, and the page requested. We use that to deliver the site and to spot abuse. We do not add a separate analytics product on this site unless the Policy is updated first.
- Correspondence that follows your enquiry.
We do not ask for account passwords. Platform access, when an engagement needs it, uses the platform’s own permission screens.
Why we use it
We use this information to read and reply to your brief, to prepare or perform an engagement you have agreed, to keep the site reliable, and to meet a legal duty such as accounting or a lawful request. Before a contract, we rely on your request to be contacted. During an engagement, we rely on the contract. For security of the site, we rely on a legitimate interest that does not override your rights. Where a law requires consent, we ask for it before that use.
How long, and who else sees it
Enquiry correspondence is kept long enough to answer and, if no engagement follows, for up to 24 months. Engagement records are kept for the work and for the period tax or professional rules require, then deleted or reduced so they no longer identify you. Host logs follow the host’s ordinary retention.
We do not sell personal information. We share it with the email and hosting providers who process it for us, with advisers when a legal or accounting duty requires it, and with an authority when the law requires it. If a processor is in another country, we put a contract in place that requires protection consistent with this page.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, or a restriction, object to certain uses, and ask for a portable copy. You may also complain to a data-protection authority. Write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm it is you. Asking does not change how we treat an enquiry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. This site is meant for businesses.
We will post updates on this page and change the date above.
